You probably did the same? You used to dream big about your future as a child? You were supposed to fly to moon; become a rock star; be the CEO of some cool organisation; be like James Bond.
But what happened?
Well, I was an extreme introvert. The chances in life are just not good for introverts, are they?
At least, that was told to me so many times. And my experiences help me conclude the same. After my first 20 years in life, I was still an extreme introvert and everything seemed hopeless.
Then I started the journey of becoming a Carefree Introvert.
Carefree : Having no problems or not being worried about anything. – Cambridge English Dictionary
Introvert : Someone who is shy, quiet, and prefers to spend time alone rather than often being with other people. – Cambridge English Dictionary
Of course, I didn’t think of being a Carefree Introvert. Honestly, I just wanted to be feel more happy, feel more relaxed, and feel more comfortable around other people. Because, isolating yourself in life does not bring you true happiness.
For me, I wanted to become, what I today call, a Carefree Introvert.
- Comfortable – I wanted to feel comfortable in all social situations, like attending a party, going shopping (sounds silly, but I hated it), or just being places with other people.
- Confidence – I wanted to have confidence, like speaking up what was on my mind when other people were around, whether it was in small groups, meetings, in school, or with friends.
- Charismatic – And finally, I wanted to shine, I wanted sometimes to be the person that others admired. I wanted to charismatic around others.
To be honest, my journey has been long. Mainly because I didn’t know what was working and not.
I’ve come a long way and I want to help you achieve the same. Because, I know you can become a Carefree Introvert as well.
